Luca “If you were to go on an adventure, you should pick a creative man like me!”
Vincent “I disagree. A man with full of experience and knowledge is what you need.”
Zeus “Nope! All those qualities are unnecessary. Adventure is all about feelings! The excitement!”
Klaus “I’m sure you’re the type of person who get lost at first.”
Zeus “Come to think of it... Hiro and I went on adventure and got lost for a week...”
Alfonse “Zeus, you’re the last person I’d choose as my adventure buddy.”[1]
Summary
Intro
Ronny: “Hey! Did you know they find the ruins of the Dragonskins in the academy?!” “I am beyond excited! Finding the ruins is every man’s dream! I’m gonna take a journey to finding my own adventure now!”
Luca: “No. It uses too much magic. I’m not letting you subject yourself to this.”
Klaus: “I cannot. I must get the two of us out of here.”
Randy: “It’s the Dragonkins' flying island! The Headmaster was right!”
Vincent: “I warned you it isn’t as easy as it looks.”
Mel: “This land used to be controlled by the Dragonkins. They probably date back to that era.”
Zeus: “Don’t just leave me to suffer! Show a little compassion!”
Hiro: “I guaranteed we’d be fine. Remember?”
Ronny: “Nice! It seems like all the guys are enjoying their adventure!” “Chica! Taffy! Hey! Urgent meeting! We gonna go on an adventure to find ruins!”
Stories
Luca:
In class, Huey McGregor pushed Luca and Liz into doing a report on an ancient dragonkin’s treasury. Then he handed a small green stone pendant with a rare enchantment that would guide the wearer to the labyrinth one time. Several days later, off from the Illusion Train, a door leading to a white gate floating in the air shut close behind them and the floor started to fade. Luca used the floating spell "Levis Pullma" to slow the falling pace, not last for long. After a strong light they found themselves back at the train station with Lucious laughing at them. Liz was sure it was not an illusion and said to herself she would find that place again someday.
Mel:
After class, in the greenhouse, Liz brought a snow apple and shared with Mel. He then explaining to Liz that rare magic seeds he had planted were swallowed by a giant hole on the ground/earth, now he would need to search for them. Descending the hole, they found his seeds and also ruins that “could date” to the dragonkins’ era. Following the sound of water, a bat flew past them and they reached a room bathed in pale blue light with a water channel craved on the floor. As the cave had a rare flower that only grows in caves, Mel collected a sample and Liz decided they would close the hole and pretend they never saw any of it to preserve the “rare indigenous plant-life" underground.
In the prefect office, giving the wind from that time of the year, Rembrandt asked Liz and Randy to investigate flying islands made by the dragonkins civilization with magic and science. Now, flying on gigantic-Taffy, Randy said he has been interested in the dragonkins for a long time. Just then, a man with “Hinomoto-like" clothes, hiding in clouds, shot jet black feathers from his wings towards the couple that used defense (shields) and attack magic. Liz made a gust of wind while Randy made a barrage of butterscotch and a “gigantic marshmallow” that went flying at the man. When Randy commented he has never seen a person with wings before, a white gateway became visible through the clouds, however, as Taffy leg had teared up during the fight, cotton was spilling out making Taffy lose power and altitude. The couple promised to search that place again one day.
Hiro:
After losing a chase with Zeus, Hiro and Liz had to investigate the station other than the Lost Station. Just when they found ruins, a man with wings and wearing a somegi shot feathers like knifes and with a spell, he sent them through a dimensional portal to the northern forest. Hungry from wandering, lost for hours, Hiro gathered an assortment of wild fruits and edible plants, he took a bright red apple and explained that the nectar in the flowers was full of nutrients. Answering Liz, he explained he learned all that because when little, he and Zeus used to play in the forest pretending they were trying to survive however, the butlers would scold them afterwards. Hiro then felt that the plants and magic around them was familiar and saw a trail that lead them out of the forest.
As Rembrandt tasked the group to investigate the Underwater City, he provided a ship with a stone (a large green crystal attached to the bow of the boat) that when touched it creates its own wind for propulsion. Early in the morning, after stowing their luggage, Hiro removed the anchor and the group set sail with Vincent leading as he was the only one with sailing experience. Following steady through the water’s mirror-like surface, Zeus and Hiro feel asleep. Vincent asked Liz thoughts on the boat and if she has had not sailed in many boats, to which she answered she was “enjoying it.” Then, a storm caused from a magic barrier came in and the lighting made a hole sinking the boat. Zeus and Hiro woke up and the whole group was able to swim back the shoreline.
Zeus:
After finding ruins close to the Illusion Station, several “cute black spirits” started haunting Zeus surrounding his head making him “clumsy.” When Zeus almost feel from a cliff, the spirits passed to Hiro by hand touch, that managed to pass it back to Zeus that continued to chase after him and Lucious.
Rembrandt had sent Klaus and Liz to investigate dragonkins’ ancient ruins in the underground labyrinth’s cavern and provided a pendant that guide the wearer through it one time, to which Klaus remarked that magical tools providing guidance are exceptionally rare. As dragonkins’ artifacts magic can be dangerous and excavations around the world continue to reveal such artifacts, the Ministry of Wizardry insisted on Klaus performing the investigation to ensure (if finding) that none would get end in wrong hands. Klaus added that according to the history books dragonkins were able to make islands soar into the sky and constructed super magical weapons, powerful enough to destroy kingdoms. At the cavern entrance, the couple noticed that the rocks were glowing reacting to the ground’s magic, however, just as Klaus noticed something was off, rocks fell and the entrance closed. Both tried spells, Pentaron and Sagita Lumen, but the cavern had cut off all and was draining the sources of magical energy. Searching for an exit, lying next to a skeleton was a pickax and a shovel, with signs of excavation along the walls, which Klaus mentioned it could be from illegal digging. Further away, the entire cavern was filled with structures made of crystal, Klaus then felt a breeze and found a way out. Liz was collapsing due to having so much power she was unable to keep it locked inside her, if she had stayed longer, she would have lost her magic and ability to use it. “The cavern became forever lost after that” (not told why).
